Information we collect

We collect information you provide through accounts, listings, saved searches, inquiries, and messages, such as your name, email address, contact details, property information, and search preferences. Please do not include passwords, bank details, or other sensitive information in messages.

Our systems process technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, including network addresses and request information. Where enabled and permitted, analytics records browser identifiers, page views, searches, selected locations, filter choices, result clicks, and request timing. Search locations describe your interests, not necessarily where you live. Analytics does not record precise GPS, keystrokes, passwords, message contents, or session replay.

How we use information

We use information to operate accounts and listings, respond to inquiries, support landowner introductions, provide requested alerts, improve search and website features, investigate misuse, and meet legal obligations. Traffic measurements help us understand popular locations, search criteria, and features. An IP address or browser identifier does not establish a person’s identity or prove that traffic is human.

Cookies and measurement

We use browser storage to support site features and, where permitted, measure usage. The visit counter measures browser-tab sessions, not unique people. Behavior analytics remains subject to applicable consent requirements and supported privacy signals, including Global Privacy Control. Blocking cookies or clearing browser storage can affect saved preferences and measurement. Service and security processing is separate from behavior analytics.

Sharing and external services

Information may be processed by providers supporting hosting, communications, maps, and other site functions. We share inquiry or contact information when needed to carry out an introduction you request and authorize. Information you publish in a listing may be visible to others. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable protections. External websites and services have their own privacy practices.

Security and retention

We use safeguards intended to restrict unauthorized access, but no internet service is completely secure. Protect your account credentials and sign out on shared devices. We retain information according to its purpose and applicable obligations. Behavior analytics uses a limited browser-identity period of up to 90 days; security records follow separate retention rules. If full-IP retention is separately enabled, the analytics implementation encrypts that evidence and assigns a seven-day expiry. Backup retention and deletion processing may differ from active storage.

Privacy requests and updates

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your information, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Submit a privacy request through the site’s account messaging feature; we may need to verify your authority before acting. This policy does not replace consent where it is required. We may update this notice as the service changes; the date above identifies the current version.
